I have to start by apologizing in my lack of posting. We have had a very busy past few months, but that is for another post. I will try to get the blog updated as soon as possible. Landon did however ask for a new post for Father's Day and I figured I could make that happen.
We are so lucky to have Landon as the head of our little family. He not only takes care of us and provides us with all that we need, but he is the best Dad to my little boy. (I am sorry to say this post may get a bit cheesy, so if you have sensitive gag reflexes you should probably stop reading now.) He is quick to come to my rescue when I have had enough, and loves to play with Hawkes and teach him new things. He is a great example to our son of what a man should be and I am so glad Hawkes will grow up with that. Recently we were away from Landon for almost a whole month and it definitely gave me a greater appreciation for all that he does. It's just not the same when he's not around, and Hawkes missed their play time and book readings. Lately anytime Hawkes hears the door open he will run as fast as he can to the entrance with the most excited look on his face. It's really the cutest thing. He also cries and throws like a 5 minute tantrum every time Landon has to leave for work, that is much less cute, but sweet to see how much he loves his Daddy.
